Day 1: Cruise Istanbul to Gallipoli

7.00pm Board the Halas and cruise the Bosphorus in Istanbul. Dinner onboard. Overnight cruise to Canakkale.

Day 2: Cruise Kepez Harbour

  • 08.00am Breakfast on board.
  • 09.30am Disambark. Private bus transfer to Troy.
    • Our local, English-speaking guide will tour you around the 9 city ruins on the site of Troy, explaining the people from the era, their houses and culture, and the reason for the final destruction of each city. The commentary is filled with mythical stories of the site and surrounding areas, while filling you in on the history of the excavations, the excavators and their findings.

      At the site you’ll be shown around:
    • A replica of the wooden horse that you can climb into for a photo.
    • Excavation information centre which holds exhibits from the work underway.
    • The fortification walls of Troy Vl with its tower and gateway entrance.
    • Temple of Athena - the focal point of a great annual festival in honour of the goddess Athena.
    • Schliemann’s trench - the discoverer of Troy?
    • The entrance ramp to Troy ll.
    • The sanctuary - an important religious centre of its time.
    • The Odeon – intended for the presentation of musical performances.
    • Current excavations in progress.
      • Visit the Museum of Troy, near the site. Lunch in the city of Canakkale. Free afternoon for city sightseeing and shopping. Board the Halas at Kepez Harbour. Dinner onboard. Overnight in Harbour.

    Day 3: Cruise Cape Helles to Bozacaada /Tenedos (Turkish Island)

    08.00am Breakfast onboard while crossing the famous Dardanelle waters. Cruise south to Cape Helles (Southern-most point / Gallipoli Peninsula) Swimming at W Beach.
    (Optional extra : ( Snorkel and/or 2 scuba dives on the Majestic WW1 Wreck)
    o Lunch onboard
    o Cruise to Turkish Island (Tenedos/Bozcaada).
    o Dinner on board.
    o Evening walk around the little island village.

    Optional extra : ( wine tasting experience) Overnnight onboard the Halas.

    Day 4: Cruise Bozcaada/Tenedos) to Gokceada/Imroz island

    08.00am Breakfast onboard.
    Cruise from Bozcaada /Tenedos to Gokceada / Imroz island.
    Lunch onboard.
    Swim at Kefelos Beach and soak in the natural Mud Bath.
    Dinner onboard.
    Overnight at Gokceada island harbour.

    Day 5: Cruise Gokceada - Suvla Bay - Kabatepe Harbour

    Early cruise to Suvla Bay (Gallipoli Peninsula)
    08.00am Breakfast on board. )
    Swimming at Suvla Bay. )
    (Optional extra: Snorkel or Scuba Dive ww1 wrecks - HMS Lundy and HMS Louis)
    Lunch onboard.
    Cruise south, past Anzac Cove to Kabatepe Harbour.
    Disembark and board private bus for a tour of the ANZAC Battlefield area.

      On tour you’ll visit:
    • Gallipoli – Kabatepe War Museum & Simulation Centre
    • Beach Cemetery (John Simpson’s Grave)
    • ANZAC Cove
    • Ari Burnu (First ANZAC landing place)

      • Return to the Halas. Farewell dinner onboard.
